The Nikon® Monarch 3® FFP Rifle Scope features a first focal plane optical system that allows the shooter to compensate for bullet drop and wind drift through the scope's entire magnification range, by maintaining the size of the reticle consistent in relation to the target (subtension) at all settings. This is an indispensible feature for long-range shooting. Windage and elevation turrets adjust by hand at 1/4-M.O.A., and have a spring-loaded, zero-reset feature that brings you back to your original zero. The zoom control operates smoothly and has magnification reference numbers viewable from the shooting position; as well the side focus adjusts the parallax without the target leaving the field of view. A 4-time zoom range provides tremendous versatility for hunting multiple species of game in varying habitats. Nikon's Ultra ClearCoat™ Optical System produces sharp, high-contrast views of the target, and across the entire field of view at all magnification settings; and the system enhances brightness at dawn and dusk when game is most active. A quick-focus eyepiece with Eyebox Technology and generous eye relief allow precise focus and protect the shooter's eyebrow from recoil.
