I've used EOTechs and Aimpoints, but the TA02 takes the cake. I was looking into getting a model that uses tritium, but didn't want to have to replace the tritium after so many years. I figured AA batteries were affordable and plentiful, so I went with this model. The box it comes in is about the size of a lunch pale. I opened it up, threw the battery in and turned it on. The glass is crystal clear and the crosshairs and reticle are sharp. It didn't take long to sight in. I used the 300 meter mark at 25 meters, and made small adjustments at 100m. I can hit a steel plate at 300m no problem. You CAN use this optic both eyes open. It takes practice, but it is easy to get shots on target quickly at 15-50m. I couldn't be happier with the TA02 and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a rugged, no BS, tougher than nails, 4x optic.
