great scope for long range.
5 Stars
great scope for long range.
I just ordered this product and placed it on my new Ruger precision rifle. That's a 6.5 creedmoor rifle. Great scope mounts that come with it. I like the scope pop up covers. So I installed it and removing the bolt action and looking through the barrel the scope was on the money. And even with my eye site which I consider bad I can see so clearly through it. But this scope is for the experience shooter. It is a long range scope and a good one at that. I did my home work and glad I did. Here's a picture of the grouping I shot at 200yds and not much difference at 300yds. Once you have learned the projectory of your bullet, it's easy.

I was unsure about this scope because of its overall size but I mounted it on a Savage BA in .338 Lapua and it is a perfect combination for that rifle. Three shots to get a zero and then I was ringing steel out to 600 yards. I really like the clarity of this scope and the reticle is very quick to figure out and use. Consistent repeatability in adjustment and a good solid scope. I own all types of scopes from all the big names in quality and it is absolutely the best buy for the money.

I would highly recommend for the price. I have also have a nightforce and was going to get another, but am glad I got this and saved $1600+. The turrets were tight and not sloppy as some others may have experienced. I got the .25 MOA version and perhaps the turrets were different on the .1 MOA version. All in all has stood up well to 300 win recoil. The rings that came with the scope are way to high. I ordered the millet low rings and mounted the scope to my rem 700. The low rings are still a bit higher than I would like, but are acceptable since selection in 35mm rings is limited.

Don't waste your money on this scope. I finally got my out to the range and the Zero doesn't work. Once you get it sighted in Millet claims you can loosen the turrets and turn back to zero and that will be your zero at whatever yardage you sighted the scope in at. Doesn't work and I've had several shooting instructors look at it. Emailed Millet (because that's the only contact method) in October, November and December of 2015 and its 2-14-2016 and have yet to hear from them. I guess they knew this was a s***ty product and planned ahead on contacting them. If I could give negative stars I would. WASTE OF MONEY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!

At first it was impressive - but the clicks were mushy and just plain terrible. They felt like they had grit stuck in the turrets.

The optics were ok - they were fairly clear.

Upon shooting it, however, there were problems. About 200 rounds in, the lenses started to go out of focus. After adjusting the parallax "range" knob on the left, it came back into view - but at the infinity setting (this was clear at 60 yards.) Then after shooting one more round, the picture went all fuzzy and brown.

At this point I returned it and bought a Vortex Viper. Much happier overall now.

Nice clear optics, good adjustments. Adjustments are stiff enough that they won't be accidentally knocked off settings. It is large and heavy, not for everyone. It is made in China. It's not a Zeiss, Swarovski, or Nightforce, but it does not come with the $2000 to $3000 price tag.

The scope has very clear optics and great features like the side focus knob. Included in the box was a bunch of extras you don't find with other scopes like heavy duty rings and flip up scope caps. The provided rings are tall and the scope is large with the 35mm tube but it is designed for a 50 bmg and is what you need for that type of rifle.

4.0 out of 5 stars It is a nice scope, the glass is clear

It is a nice scope, the glass is clear, nice features, sturdy.
I did not like the fact that the cross-hair is in mils and the turrets are in MOA.

Finally decided to return it and bought a Vortex Viper PST.
