First of all, I'm using this for airsoft purposes. I have no idea how this thing handles the recoil on an actual firearm, but I'm certain it's still rock solid. This scope impressed me from the moment I opened the box. You don't come across too many scopes with blue illumination, and even fewer with the bubble level in it. Because of the way a hop-up bucking puts backspin on an airsoft BB during trajectory, any slight tilt on the gun can cause your shot to curve to the left or right and lower your accuracy. The bubble level fixes that by telling me when I'm shooting level so that I'm always 100% accurate. The illumination is bright, clear, and would help in a low-contrast or lower lighting condition, but I haven't needed to use it yet. The zoom is somewhat tricky to operate during use, but a throw lever or zoom knob would solve that problem. The lens caps are also a nice touch. Overall, this thing is easy to zero, has an excellent finish, unique features to any scope I've seen, and is a steal for the price.
I was really excited about this but the first time I put it on my ar 15 the cross hairs inside must have broke loose. Maybe 75 rounds after I zeroed it in they ended up sitting diagnel inside. It was obviously no longer accurate.
Maybe this would be OK for a rim fire but mine broke right away which I wasted a lot of ammo on sighting in.
The flip caps in picture are not built onto scope but simply cheap rubber caps. They slide over scope ends. They work but in the future i dont think they'll hold up. Optics work good. Not a bad scope for the money. Grouped on paper nice and held zero. I have it mounted on marlin .22 795 model. I had to change scope rings it comes with weaver style rings. I needed 3/8 dovetail.
This appears to be a pretty rugged scope. Love the "rhino lined" feel. Can see clearly through it, easy to mount, came with all of the hardware. It has a leveling bubble inside the scope, so beginner shooters can tell if they are holding the gun properly. The inside of the scope changes from blue to green tint, to help in low light situations, and it has lines in the scope so you can adjust for longer distances. We haven't been able to change it to green yet, but we've only had it a week or so. My husband is a gunsmith, and he agrees that this is an excellent buy
This scope is downright amazing.It is clear an crisp even at 9x zoom and includes everything you need to mount it.The only thing not included was instructions on how to level out the mounts and such but that's okay.The scope also includes a spirit level built into it in order to make sure you hit your target on the first shot.I have not had a chance to try it out but it seems very durable and well worth the money.Overall,this scope is a must buy.The included scope covers are a very nice feature and give your scope a more tactical appearance.I love this scope and for a very low price,it seems that it could be even better than some of the well-known branded high-priced scopes out there.
Really nice complete package. This scope has to be one of the best buys for modern tactical sporting rifles out there and personally I don't care if it's brand name is plastered on the side or weather the guy a the range who has everything cares about it, I love it. Has every thing you need and is quality at the same time. I could go on and on about this scope but I will not for 40 dollars it is extremely accurate and works perfect, so if your in the market and this is in stock BUY IT!!!
it's more gimmicky than useful. Has a level in it, but isn't 100% accurate as a level. The cross-hairs seem to loosen up after a few shots and drift, I am using a Springfield 1908 30-06 with very heavy loads, so that may be part of it. It just feels hollow and cheap. but I mean it's good, once it stops drifting and its tightened and locked down, you can totally peg base ball size patterns at 200yds, it would be awesome on the .22
CVlife has some excellent scopes!! This one is no exception. There is a nice blue illumination, and a level. The scope is coated with a textured black paint that feels and looks great. Crystal clear with a good mildot. Comes with high profile scope rings , so you can leave your rear buis on. The only downside, in my opinion, is the 1" tube diameter. But that doesn't really affect anything.
