Just what you would expect from Eotech. Saved over $100 because of the OPMOD logo on the side, is what I’m assuming. There is no difference in this model and the standard Eotech EXPS2-0. Could not find any difference other than the logo on the hood...

I already own an older version of the EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 and I bought this one was the same. Got it with the new quick mount it is great. Zeroed-in in no time and just love it. Delivery was fast, great doing business with Optics Planet.
From my understanding the opmod gives you the protection of the Exps3-0 without the NV capabilities. For the same price as the EXPS2-0 there is no reason to not get the OPMOD version. Eotech has all the best features you would want from a red dot. On...

The OPMOD EOTech Water Resistant Sight offers instinctive two-eyes-open shooting with a transversely mounted 123 battery, and a 7mm raised base offering a lower 1/3 co-witness with iron sights. OPMOD EXSPS-2 L3 Eotech red dot scopes (EXPS stands for Extreme-XPS HWS) feature easily accessible side buttons and a single quick release throw lever for easy and instant attachment and removal.
Similar to EOTech XPS-2 red dot sights, OPMOD EXPS-2 sights are smaller than Eotech N-cell battery red dot sights such as their popular EOTech 550 Holosight. The OPMOD red dot sight has a shortened base that only requires at most 2 3/4 inch of rail space, compared to the 4 inch N battery sights. L3 Eotech OPMOD EXPS-2 Sight features two reticle options: 0 - a 68MOA circle with 1 MOA aiming dot (EXPS 2-0 OPMOD sight) and 2 - 68MOA circle with two 1MOA aiming dots (EXPS 2-2 OPMOD sight).

Features of EOTech OPMOD EXPS2 Holographic Reflex Red Dot Sight:
Single transverse CR123 battery to reduce sight length.
Short base only requires 2 3/4 inch of rail space compared to the 4 inch N battery sights.
Battery cap and latch are eliminated and replaced with a simple O-ring and tethered cap that achieves a better watertight seal.
Battery compartment is now separated from the base to allow it to cantilever over the delta ring of AR-15 type rifles.
Average battery life at brightness level 12 is roughly 500-600 hours, 3X the battery life of N cell sights.
